Photo Credit:"Colors on Abbot Kinney Blvd." from the album On the Street, LATimes

Fall in Venice Beach is sometimes the hottest time of year in Southern California. Not this year, September has been delightfully perfect, which is why so many people flock to Southern California beaches to live. The tourists have returned back to home so shopping and walking the boardwalk is a shoppers delight. Fashionista and designers a like know that Venice Beach is the place to find one of a kind: art objects, hats, jewlry, clothes and accessories. The weekends are still crowded and crazy so we suggest a week day visit to Abbot Kinney Boulevard or bike ride on the Venice boardwalk. The VENICE BEACH WALK TOURS is one of the most famous tourist attractions in all of America. As a matter of fact, it’s number 1 in Los Angeles County, visited by more than 5 million people each year. This weekend was the Abbot Kinney Festival,a long celebrated fall tradition with eco-friendly car booths, party tends, food like Hawaiian BBQ to keetle Korn, and Obama booths.

How to Vacation and Treasure Hunt at Your Beach House

Beach House Finds CELESTIAL BY THE SEA an oceanfront beach rent in Lincoln City, Oregon. The beach house find is a place to view the ocean, and it has views North to Cascade Head and South to the Salishan Spit. Oregon has exciting storms, blissful sunsets, moonlight beams and starlit nights. Lincoln City, is a favorite vacation destination in the Northwest and is located on the Central Oregon Coast. Imagine strolling down the coastline and stumbling upon a richly colorful hand blown glass float. Years ago, people would find treasures like these drifting ashore from places near and far. Today, most floats are made of other materials and are absent color all together; unless of course you visit Lincoln City, Oregon. In recent years, the city has revived this treasure hunt and now places glass floats on the beach for people to find and enjoy. These one of a kind floats are numbered and can be registered with the local Chamber of Commerce making them a truly special piece of memorabilia. Visit the beaches of Lincoln City and find a glass float to take home with you. Lincoln City is also known as the kite flying capital of the world, many travel great distances to participate in this beach goer tradition.

Is Small the New Large In Beach Cottages?

Images by Ben Anders

London based Danish designer Nina Tolstrup of Studiomama wanted a weekend retreat to escape life in so she bought a small plot of land on the shore in a seaside town located in northeast Kent. The 388-square-foot structure is located in the middle of a row of 25 tiny cottages, sits on galvanized steel stilts, and is clad with cedar shingles. The interior is sawn softwood and the focus is the sea view. A sleeping loft accommodates Ms. Tolstrup and her husband, and her two children who sleep in bunks. Nina has designed this beach house to be pared down to the essentials: eat, drink, sleep, and view. We think it is the perfect Beach house find!

There is something about beachiness.

Hollywood and socialites attended a beautiful summer evening Soiree at "Watermill." Everyone looked sunkissed and fresh from the beach.

At Beach House Finds we all love our jobs and life by the beach. However as the U.S. economy continues to struggle, studies have shown that financial-related stress can lead to health issues. A workout such as yoga when you are living by the beach can be a wonderful stress reliever and a way to slow the mind and body down.
